Rachell Allen Reviewers, Asia’s Premier Review Facility, revs up its search for nurses who can represent Rachell Allen’s vision of striving for nursing excellence. Nurses all over Metro Manila tried their luck to vie for the prestigious title of Rachell Allen Image Model. After rigorous screening process, the final batch of contestants has already been picked. Rachell Allen Image Model Search is an annual model search conducted by Rachell Allen Reviewers USA. It is an effort to recognize individual nurses who can uphold Professor Rachell Allen’s mission of spreading Nursing Excellence across the Philippines. And the Grand Winners of The 2010 Search for Rachell Allen Image Model are, Kim de Guzman and Chris Bautista. They both won a scholarship grants, travel packages, cash prizes and gift certificates from the event sponsors.

A few days ago ,Miss Philippines Earth 2010 candidates were presented before during the premiere of Project Noel at The Podium. An environmental awareness film which is a project of the previous Miss Philippines Earth  candidates.

Tuesday, April 6 at Manila Ocean Park, 53 beautiful and cause oriented ladies of Miss Philippines Earth 2010 was presented to for the first time to the media.Representing the different municipalities from all over the Philippines, including the following Filipino communities abroad : France , U.S. East Coast and U.S. West Coast. While last year’s candidates promoted the “green lifestyle” this year’s candidates will promote “water conservation and preservation” in response to the problem of El Nino.

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Continues to showcase True Filipina Beauty in Longest-running and Most Prestigious Bb. Pilipinas Pageant.

Winners of this annual pageant will represent the Philippines to International Pageants such as Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss International. This year’s  competition is tough yet doubtful.  Krista Arrieta Kleiner is like a surewin since she is already a celebrity. 2009 kicks off with the most refreshing faces from all over the Philippines vying for the most coveted title of Binibining Pilipinas. 24 promising beauties have been selected as official candidates in the country’s longest-running and most prestigious pageant.

The annual Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant is a project of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI), a non-stock, non-profit organization. The pageant was envisioned as a prestigious fund-raising activity for projects that would benefit orphans, indigent families and other less fortunate members of Philippine society.

24 candidates aspire to live up to the ideals of being the embodiment of the true Filipina beauty—a dazzling combination of poise, grace, and intelligence—committed to various humanitarian and ideal causes. The selected candidates were formally presented to select members of the media on February 6 at Cinema 4 of Gateway Cineplex 10 in Araneta Center. The coronation night is set on Saturday, March 7 at the Araneta Coliseum, which has been the official home of the pageant in its four decades of glorious existence.

The winners who will be crowned Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Universe, and Binibining Pilipinas World will serve as the official Philippine representative to the three different international pageants. They will be joining the elite roster of past beauty queens that the pageant has produced such as Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969; Margie Moran, Miss Universe 1973; Aurora Pijuan, Miss International 1970; Melanie Marquez, Miss International 1979; Ruffa Gutierrez, Miss World 2nd Princess 1993; Miriam Quiambao, Miss Universe 1st Runner-up 1999; and Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss International 2005.

With a new batch of the most beautiful young ladies in the country as official candidates, Binibining Pilipinas continues to carry on not only its heritage of producing international winners, but also serving as the gateway to many meaningful opportunities to prove that real beauty is truly beyond skin deep. 2009 Miss Earth Beauty Pageant

The much-anticipated day came as 90 of the most beautiful environment diplomats from all over of the world paraded for the 2009 Miss Earth Beauty Pageant press presentation, held on November 4 2009, 10:00 am at Mader`s Garden, the residence of style guru Ricky Reyes. Rightfully called, “BEAUTIES FOR A CAUSE”, these maidens will spread the love for Mother Nature in the different Islands of the Philippines.

This year, the Miss Earth Pageant is seeking to amplify the message of nature brought by the devastation caused by recent typhoon Ondoy in the Philippines, the sand storm in Australia, and the floods in India. “Mother Earth is telling us something. The recent tragic events must affirm us to continue our pro-environment efforts and compel those who haven’t acted yet,” said the reigning Miss Earth 2008 Karla Paula Henry, who was also a leading figure in the relief operations that followed the Ondoy calamity. Carousel Productions, Inc. President Mr. Ramon S. Monzon agreed and shared, “There were warnings in the past which most of us ignored and were complacent about. The recurring abnormal weather pattern around us is a reminder that we can never afford to wait until the worst scenario happens. We must act with urgency.” Ms. Lorraine Schuck, CPI Executive Vice President, further added, “We can all contribute by simply changing our lifestyle and seriously implement the 4Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Respect. The delegates of Miss Earth this year have been spreading this message by sharing ways on how to live an eco-friendly lifestyle.”

2009 is also a year of interesting changes and development. A new member of the Carousel family, Ms. Ping Valencia, has been appointed as Vice President for External Affairs. She is a leading image consultant and a top model of her generation. Another pleasant surprise is the new Miss Earth Crown, a Ramona Haar masterpiece adorned with different natural gemstones donated by each participating country, set for unveiling come Coronation Night, which shall take place outside Luzon Island for the first time.

The pre-pageant activities started with the National Costume Competition that took place on the same day of November 4, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. at the Amazing Theater, formerly Film Center of the Philippines, CCP Complex, Pasay City.

The Grand Coronation Night will be on November 22, 2009, Sunday, 7:00 p.m. at the Boracay Convention Center, the centerpiece of Boracay Eco Village Resort in Yapak, Boracay Island, Aklan. It will be televised locally by ABS-CBN Channel 2 and internationally by The Filipino Channel. Eighteen (18) semi-finalists will be chosen this year. They will be trimmed to twelve (12) until only eight (8) exceptional ladies would remain to compete for the following titles: Miss Earth, Miss Earth-Air, Miss Earth-Water, and Miss Earth-Fire.

The 2009 Miss Earth Beauty Pageant is also being supported by Miss Earth Foundation, Discovery Suites, the official delegates’ residence in Manila, Fairways and Bluewater, the official delegates’ residence in Boracay, PAGCOR, Nestle Nesvita and Karilagan International Travel & Tours Corp.
