The Cookie fever is spreading even more with the LG’s “Let’s Continue the Cookie
Revolution” campaign. From Baguio to Davao, thousands of people catch the LG Cookie
Mascot on its toes as it roams through various SM malls nationwide. Lucky spotters
can take their most wacky, creative and cool snapshots with the LG Cookie mascot.
The Cookie mascot campaign epitomizes the characteristics of the LG Cookie Series of
being sociable, enjoyable, and affordable. Cookie Wi-Fi (LG KM555), Cookie Ultima (LG
GT505), and Cookie Pop (LG GD510) comprised the first new set of Cookie series, while
Cookie Fresh (LG GS290) came as fresh addition recently.
Dedicated websites — www.lgcookie.ph or myLifesGoodPH facebook page– have been
established to facilitate easy uploading and sharing of photos for a chance to participate
in the competition. The online sites ask participants to upload their cute and enjoyable
photos with LG Cookie mascot and encourage their friends to join in on the fun by voting
for their most favourite entries.
Hernandez said that LG reinvents and finds innovative ways to relate closely with our
customers. With social networking site Facebook, we sought to make an online community
wherein people can interact and share with each other their experiences with Cookie
phones and Cookie Mascot as a means to spread the fun experiences and frenzy here in our
local arena.

Entries for the Cookie Mascot contest can be made until the middle of June 2010. The
most popular photos will be judged based on votes from Facebook users which will be
allotted 60% and the creativity of the pose with the LG Cookie Mascot which accounts for
40% of the final score.
The top three winners will be declared and will win the following phones up for grabs: 1st
Place – one Cookie Ultima, 2nd Place – one Cookie Pop and 3rd Place – one Cookie Wi-
fi. To add on the surprise, three lucky friends from top three winners will be drawn to
receive one Cookie Wi-Fi each via digital raffle draw to be announced on the 18th of June

Binibining Pilipinas Charities Continues to showcase True Filipina Beauty in Longest-running and Most Prestigious Bb. Pilipinas Pageant.
24 of the most beautiful women in the land were formally presented to the members of media and pageant sponsors recently at the Sunset Pavillion of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, officially signaling the start of the much-anticipated Binibining Pilipinas 2010 pageant. As determined as they are beautiful , the ladies carry with them the lifelong dream of representing the Philippines in the world’s most prestigious beauty contests- the Miss International , Miss Universe, and Miss World pageants.
This year’s batch of candidates will each strive to get the judges’ nods as they go all-out in exhibiting a dazzling combination of beauty , wit , and talent – qualities that may earn them the title come Coronation Night on March 6, 2010 at the Araneta Coliseum. Comprising the line-up is a diverse mix of students, medical practitioners, models and actors, budding entrepreneurs, and young professionals. Their profiles reveal a wide range of interests from fashion and interior design to music, sports and the arts. Candidates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are joined by Fil-foreigners from Hongkong and Switzerland.
Apart from the chance to fulfill their dreams of representing the country in the three top international pageants , the winners also become messengers of love and hope to orphans , indigent families , calamity victims, and other less fortunate members of society through the various causes being supported by Bb. Pilipinas Charities Inc. , a non-stock, non-profit organization.
Serving as inspiration to this year’s aspirants are celebrated past winners such as Gloria Diaz (Miss Universe 1969), Margie Moran (Miss Universe 1973), Aurora Pijuan (Miss International 1970). Melanie Marquez (Miss International 1979), Precious Lara Quigaman (Miss international 2005), and Janina San Miguel (Bb. Pilipinas World 2008). Last year’s winners , Meldoy Gersbach (Bb. Pilipinas International), Pamela Bianca Manalo (Bb. Pilipinas Universe) and Marie Ann Umali(Bb. Pilipinas World ) , likewise did the country proud by excelling in their respective international pageants.
Immediately after the press presentation , an exciting lineup of activities will be held throughout the course of the pageant season. The ladies will soon walk the ramp in a fashion show featuring the hottest collection of leading fashion line , Cumbia , at the Activity Area of Gateway Mall. They will also be sharing their blessings with beneficiaries during the annual pageant charity day, and will get to display their winning forms in their Bathing Suits and Long Gowns during the Pre-pageant to be aired in GMA 7’s SNBO program on February 28. 2009 kicks off with the most refreshing faces from all over the Philippines vying for the most coveted title of Binibining Pilipinas. 24 promising beauties have been selected as official candidates in the country’s longest-running and most prestigious pageant.

The annual Binibining Pilipinas Beauty Pageant is a project of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI), a non-stock, non-profit organization. The pageant was envisioned as a prestigious fund-raising activity for projects that would benefit orphans, indigent families and other less fortunate members of Philippine society.

24 candidates aspire to live up to the ideals of being the embodiment of the true Filipina beauty—a dazzling combination of poise, grace, and intelligence—committed to various humanitarian and ideal causes. The selected candidates were formally presented to select members of the media on February 6 at Cinema 4 of Gateway Cineplex 10 in Araneta Center. The coronation night is set on Saturday, March 7 at the Araneta Coliseum, which has been the official home of the pageant in its four decades of glorious existence.

The winners who will be crowned Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Universe, and Binibining Pilipinas World will serve as the official Philippine representative to the three different international pageants. They will be joining the elite roster of past beauty queens that the pageant has produced such as Gloria Diaz, Miss Universe 1969; Margie Moran, Miss Universe 1973; Aurora Pijuan, Miss International 1970; Melanie Marquez, Miss International 1979; Ruffa Gutierrez, Miss World 2nd Princess 1993; Miriam Quiambao, Miss Universe 1st Runner-up 1999; and Precious Lara Quigaman, Miss International 2005.
